Intern needed for upcoming mapping projects. This is a great experience for a young designer/planner/cartographer to gain exposure and experience on high profile projects while working with design professionals in a fast-paced, loosely-structured, collaborative environment.

This is not a traditional internship. It is a project-specific, deadline-oriented work experience that will require a flexible schedule & willingness to work weekends if deadlines are pending. Since it is project-specific, it is not a full time job. Approximately 100 hours between 2/1/2010 & 4/1/2010 would be required for the first project. You will be compensated fairly for your efforts.

the ideal candidate will show:
proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash & Dreamweaver)
experience with Google Maps API and/or ArcGIS
knowledge of the Greater New Orleans metro region
