We’re looking for a talented Project Manager to join us. Obviously, all the prerequisites need to be there: mastery of web application development, strong communication and conceptual skills, and the ability to think strategically. But we also want someone that plays well with others, someone that’s interesting to be around, someone that gets excited about new ideas and new restaurants. We’re really not asking for much.
An Internal Operations Project Manager coordinates efforts of cross-functional teams on a variety of Operations-led projects, including but not limited to our internal workflow web application, from conception through deployment. Responsibilities include documentation of project schedules and budgets, capturing all feature and project requirements, cross-functional team collaboration & communication management, leading change management initiatives, ongoing training, managing delivery of assets and execution of test plans, and day-to-day management of resource priorities.
Major Accountabilities:
• Manage the development, execution, testing & rollout of all Operations led system implementations including detailed work plan, system documentation, and cross-functional team collaboration.
• Manage projects to budget in order to keep overhead as low as possible.
• Implement systems and makes decisions in line with agency mission that increase overall efficiency
• Own change management & training for all IT related assignments on an ongoing basis.
• Continuously identify ways to increase efficiency and reduce costs and manage these assignments through execution.
• Keep current on best practices in the areas including advertising workflow management, change management, advertising processes, as well as cost effective training.
Regular Duties:
• Work with General Manager on developing and continuously improving internal procedures in order to meet agency, account and client needs.
• 100% accountable for the successful re-launch of agency workflow management system as well as the addition of new features based on value and priority to the business and continuous improvement of system leveraging best practice research.
• Coordinate day-to-day work of the IT Department where necessary to assist in the prioritization of requests as well as identifying ways to aggregate like requests and manage the reduction of said requests (example: create an FAQ for agency employees to access)
• Manage the complete documentation of agency intranet.
• Create a full training program for all Operations-led initiatives including the potential to leverage computer based learning on an ongoing basis.
• Facilitate communication & manage requests within the department as well as with all other agency departments.
Required Skills:
• Web application development; front-end development experience (CSS) and/or wire framing experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, MS Visio, basic HTML.
• Ability to create detailed IT project timelines and critical paths.
• Knowledge of print, broadcast, & interactive advertising projects preferred.
• Change management, project management experience required.
• Six Sigma familiarity a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of project management experience in the interactive advertising or related business.
• Systems training.
• Excellent communication skills – both external and internal – required.
• Budget management and cost control.
