SUMMARY:
As a staff support member at Early Childhood & Family Learning Foundation (ECFLF), the Administrative Assistant will be responsible for maintaining an information flow between the Foundation Office, Divisions of Education, Community and Social Services, Communications, and Health & Wellness related activities. This may include activities such as coordinating communications between the CEO, Directors, Community Partners, Community Council and Consultants; facilitating correspondences with vendors and/or contractors and the programs; and assisting in database and basic computer technology development. Additionally, the incumbent will play a key role in monitoring the invoicing process, facilitating program related purchases, and cataloging program expenditures.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Special Projects
• Handle administrative detail
• Seek greater role in projects within administrative and other areas of competence
• Seek training on projects outside range
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Excellent organizational skills
• Attention to detail and a tolerance for working on multiple projects simultaneously, Upbeat, positive, outgoing, personable and able to relate well with diverse populations and age groups
• Demonstrated commitment to completion of projects on a timely basis
• Technology (hard) skills used regularly:
• PC with MS Word and Excel; Outlook e-mail and calendar; Quickbooks accounting; copy, fax and scanning machines; postage meter
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor Degree.
• Experience working with non-profit organizations in clerical or Administrative Assistant position.
