The teachNOLA Communications and Operations Intern will be based in New Orleans, LA.
TNTP is an at-will employer, meaning that either you or TNTP may terminate the employment

You will be reporting directly to Eric Parrie, Program Operations Manager, teachNOLA. In this role, your responsibilities will include:
• Oversee drafting and distribution of accurate and effective programmatic information and
messages via newsletters, mailings, emails, etc.
• Return candidate inquiries via phone and email
• Assist with event preparation and facilitation, including Opening and Closing Ceremonies for
Training Institute and Fellow connectivity events throughout Institute
• Enter and track confidential data using our electronic database
• Become familiar with District initiatives, culture, and organization, as needed
• Help to troubleshoot concerns from Fellows, Master Teachers and District/credential program
partners, as needed
• Participate in regular leadership meetings and communicate ongoing progress and challenges to the
leadership team
• Coordinate Institute workshop logistics and assist in securing workshop presenters
• Implement relevant portions of the Institute operations and communications plan
• Assist with preparation and facilitation of hiring fairs and other events
• Implement logistics plan for Institute evaluation
The Communications and Operations Internship is a full-time internship (Monday-Friday, 8:00am –
5:00pm), with some tasks falling outside of regular business hours.
