2 Year Fellowship for Next Generation Leaders

THE OPPORTUNITY: The Idea Village is hiring the next generation of entrepreneurial leaders — individuals bold enough to take a chance and smart enough to see a unique opportunity in New Orleans.

We are seeking smart, proactive, roll-up-your-sleeves, can-do-anything individuals to join the IDEAcorps Fellowship program to support and propel the entrepreneurial movement that is underway in New Orleans.
The time to join the movement is now.

WHAT?

Work at the forefront of a city that will undergo one of the greatest transformations in modern history.
Execute programs that identify, support and retain entrepreneurial talent in New Orleans:
The Idea Village Entrepreneur Challenge: Consulting program to support local high-growth entrepreneurs.
New Orleans Entrepreneur Week: Festival of entrepreneurship for our nation’s leading MBAs and corporate volunteers to support early-stage New Orleans ventures: www.noew.org.
Develop new programs that support and retain the entrepreneurial movement in New Orleans.
Create entrepreneurship models that can be replicated on a global stage.

WHO?

Loves New Orleans …and always up for an adventure.
MBA and/or work experience preferred … experience in "just figuring it out" a must.
Ability to sell new concepts … and the confidence to sell just about anything.
Dynamic & energetic personality with the drive to make opportunities happen.
Start-up mentality – comfort in building relationships, raising money, and developing a program or project from concept to execution.
Exhibits skills that may include, but not limited to: marketing, finance, consulting, and business development.
Views New Orleans as a laboratory to accelerate the development of a great American city.
Desire to create entrepreneurship programs in New Orleans – and conviction to spread them around the world.

2 year Full-time Fellowship.
