OUR HISTORY

Delta Personnel was founded in 1968 by Victor Lawrence after several years serving as general manager for a major corporation. Born in Brooklyn, Lawrence was hired by a Fortune 500 company upon receiving his MBA from NYU. He soon developed a deep understanding of human resources, seeking exceptional talent and relocating to new regions of the country as the company grew and he progressed in his career. Eventually, Victor landed in New Orleans and was instantly captivated by the city's culture and energy. Instead of accepting another relocation, he decided to put down roots and open an employment business of his own. The company remained under Victor Lawrence's management until he was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 1988, when his son, David, and daughter-in-law, Teresa took the helm.
