Job Description
The Gracious Bakery Head of Delivery is responsible for monitoring, delegating, and executing the delivery of all retail, wholesale, and at times, catering orders. The Head is responsible for cross- checking invoices and making sure all product arrives where it is designated to go. This employee needs to be able to communicate effectively and proactively with store and department managers, back of house employees, and catering head and assistant. Employees are required to use Slack as much as possible for communication.
The Head of Delivery must be open to communication, receive constructive feedback, and be willing to work with others as a team member. The person in this position must be able to train new employees, stand for multiple hours, be able to lift 50 pounds, accurately read invoices and distribute product accordingly, and move efficiently and quickly.
This department head is responsible for wholesale customer communication and adjustment of invoices to account for errors in packing, delivering, receiving, etc.
