Job Description
Looking for a career that sparks joy within- as well as beyond oneself?
Consider Piety and Desire Chocolate - the New Orleans bean-to-bar chocolaterie, where we're currently expanding operations and seeking the perfect match to help steer the ship.
The ideal candidate would essentially start as a Sales Manager while assisting in the opening of a new retail location, at which time they'd possibly ascend to the position of General Manager or stick to a more grounded Retail Management position, depending on aptitude and, well, desire.
Initial Job Duties will include the following:
-customer service (POS, b2b sales inquiries, custom orders, etc)
-assist in the creation of an employee manual
-understand and ensure implementation of pandemic related protocols
-solicitation and management of new wholesale accounts
-inventory management and ordering
-employee hiring and management
-handle food products safely and responsibly
-must be able to stand for an 8-hour shift and lift 50 pounds
-willingness to learn about- and convey knowledge of chocolate production
-assisting in the organic growth of our brand and its retail operations
Compensation will be competitive and based on the expertise and skills shared with us. We currently offer one week paid vacation, and we plan to grow our benefits program over the next year to include health insurance for full time employees.
