The digital strategist will work on a wide variety of B2C and B2B client and marketing projects for The Times-Picayune | The Advocate and all other properties within the statewide organization. The primary responsibility of the digital strategist will be to work with audience data to strategize, execute and fulfill email, social media, online display, paid search, and other digital media campaigns from start to finish while optimizing in-progress campaigns based on performance. A sharp focus in this position will be email and social media marketing. The digital strategist will work on a collaborative team within the Marketing department of creatives, strategists and project managers. The digital strategist should be up to date on the latest technology and implementation trends for digital campaigns.

Skillset required

• 3-5 years professional experience as a digital strategist in any industry
• Proficient in Google Analytics, Google Ad Manager
• Experience running re-targeting campaigns
• Experience with tracking pixel implementation
• Experience fulfilling programmatic ad buys in-platform. Google DV360 preferred.
• Proficient in using audience data and analytics to make informed decisions on campaign recommendations
• Extensive experience strategizing and executing email marketing campaigns
• Extensive experience strategizing and executing social media campaigns on a number of platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram Twitter, LinkedIn, Reddit, and TikTok
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Able to work on deadline and take direction while also being a self-starter
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
