Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in engineering principles and demonstrate proficiency in various engineering disciplines. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement engineering solutions that meet project requirements and enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research data collection to support engineering projects and initiatives.
  • Engage in civil engineering tasks, including planning, design, and execution of infrastructure projects.
  • Apply quantum engineering principles to develop cutting-edge technologies.
  • Utilize 3D scanning technology for precise measurements and modeling.
  • Implement systems engineering methodologies to ensure project coherence and integration.
  • Design mechanical components and systems, ensuring functionality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with team members on research projects, contributing innovative ideas and solutions.
  • Develop scripts and tools using Python to automate processes and improve efficiency.
  • Build prototypes and conduct testing to validate designs against specifications.
  • Leverage mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues and optimize existing systems.

Minimum Qualifications

Registration as a professional engineer and license to practice in Louisiana.*

Skills

  • Strong understanding of research methodologies and data collection techniques.
  • Proficiency in civil engineering principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with quantum engineering concepts is a plus.
  • Experience with 3D scanning tools and software for accurate modeling.
  • Knowledge of systems engineering processes for effective project management.
  • Solid background in mechanical design, including CAD software proficiency.
  • Ability to conduct thorough research and analysis to inform decision-making.
  • Proficient in Python programming for automation and data analysis tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to build functional prototypes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration.
