Multimedia Art Director
The multimedia art director will work on a wide variety of marketing projects for The Times-Picayune | The Advocate and all other properties within the statewide organization. The primary responsibility for the multimedia art director will be to execute high-end graphics both in vector animation and in video for both online display, social media, email and website campaigns. He or she will take direction from the Marketing Director but will also have creative space to apply his or her creative input and style to projects. The multimedia art director will work on a team of designers, strategists and project managers in a collaborative environment.
Skillset required
- 3-5 years professional experience as a multimedia graphic designer
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite - including Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere
- Expertise in CSS and HTML a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Office (primarily Outlook and Word)
- Able to work on deadline and take direction
- Expert understanding of typography and its usage in design projects
- Good interpersonal communication skills
