<p>I'm not afraid of new challenges. My path has led to me living in Japan on multiple occasions and even pursuing a master's program where almost all of my course work was conducted in my second language. I love pushing myself, as well as collaborating with others to achieve seemingly impossible goals. </p><p>My main focuses are music journalism, New Orleans, and work for international audiences. I also enjoy pursuing opportunities beyond these focuses and take on many diverse projects. </p><p>In 2025, I earned a master's degree in musicology from the University of Osaka (formerly known as Osaka University), one of Japan's most prestigious universities. My work history includes leading a large team as an associate editor, representing an international newspaper at conferences in the United States, and collaborating with diverse entities, such as the Consulate-General of Japan in Nashville and the New Orleans Jazz Museum.
